PSAA is on track with its procurement of audit services for opted-in bodies for the audit of accounts from 2023/24 to 2027/28. The invitation to tender was issued as planned on 7 April 2022 and tenderers have until noon on 11 July 2022 to submit their responses.

PSAA has today announced that 470 (99%) out of 475 eligible bodies have joined its national scheme for local auditor appointments for the next appointing period, which will cover the audits for financial years 2023/24 to 2027/28. PSAA is pleased to report that it has received acceptances from 400 eligible bodies to become opted-in authorities to the national scheme from April 2023. The latest date to notify PSAA of your opt-in decision is midnight on 11 March 2022. A full list of the opted-in bodies is available.
